COCKTAIL RECEPTION

Please join us for adults only cocktails and hors d'oeuvres at SIDEDOOR Restaurant from 4pm to 6pm. We will all proceed from SIDEDOOR to Restaurant e18hteen together at 6pm. 

 

The menu at SIDEDOOR focuses on Mexican-Asian fusion. And if you have never tried a soft taco inspired by these two cultures, you are in for a great treat - and just wait until you try their hand-rolled mini donuts. Executive Chef Jonathan Korecki (who trained under Susur Lee and was the second runner-up on Top Chef Canada) will take your taste buds on an adventure!

 

SIDEDOOR is the sister restaurant to our main venue, e18hteen and is accessible via the courtyard directly adjacent to #18 York Street.

 

During the time between the Ceremony and Cocktails, you will surely love wandering and exploring around the Byward market and her cobblestone courtyards.

 

DINNER & DANCING

Please join us for an adults only, formal sit-down dinner at Restaurant e18hteen. Service will begin at 6:30PM. We will be offering a menu with choices to please everyone for each course, but please do contact us with any special dietary restrictions or allergies so we may notify the kitchen.

 

Restaurant e18hteen is a in a romantic stone heritage building built in the late 1800's. The building has had many purposes over its history, including a cheese factory! Who doesn't love cheese? We love dining here and its intimate feel, grand stone walls and location in the Byward Market made it our perfect choice to celebrate love. 

 

Jonathan Korecki recently took e18hteen under his belt and is now the executive chef at this venue as well. The menu reads like that from a sophisticated steak and seafood house and honours local ingredients through beautiful platting and elevated flavours.
